"Think Green Thoughts"
I made this as part of last year's Rainbow Scrap Challenge, and it used up every bit of green in my scrap bins, including a bunch of HSTs from an abandoned leaf-quilt project.
This is the second all green quilt I've made, and I continue to be pleased and amazed by the way that you can put essentially ANY types of greens together and they "go". To me, this is like a walk in the woods.

Many years ago in a class with Pat Campbell, while students were struggling with putting many fabrics together while selecting fabrics for the project, she told us to look out the windows at the many different greens we can see in nature and how they all work together. Your quilt is an excellent example of just how true that is.
Great scrap buster!
Yes, I was going to say that it looks like an abstracted tree/forest scene. Nice job!
Beautiful quilt. I love everything green and like you, I wouldn't have thought that all greens go together.
That turned out really great, Julie! One of these days I'm going to need to start doing some color-theme quilts and start using up some of this stash. I love how yours just flows from one section to the other. All the greens really work.
I really liked this one last year when you made it; I still really like it. I love the combination of order and randomness, as well as the variety of greens.
Wonderful quilt! It makes me think of walking in a forest!
You should conquer my scrap bins and make more of these (they could have red, purple and blue cousins@!)
Check out my blog if you can...

I have always wanted to make a scrappy green quilt for just that reason; how great all the different greens look together in nature. Thank you for reminding me. Yours looks fabulous!
